Central West Driver Training (CWDT) has been providing heavy vehicle driver training since 1992. We provide flexible high quality training which will ensure that you are job-ready to industry standards. We pride ourselves on training you to understand and operate trucks to the best of your ability and not to merely "get a licence".

Central West Driver Training began operating in 1992 providing specialist Heavy Vehicle Driver Training based in Bathurst. Since then Central West Driver Training has become the largest provider of Heavy Vehicle Driver Training servicing the Central West of NSW. We are still expanding across regional NSW to provide quality Heavy Vehicle Driver Training to more and more people, helping them meet their licencing needs.

Our Story

Experienced

Our driving instructors have extensive knowledge of all aspects of the transport industry. Our instructors have previous experience in the bus and coach industry, fuel and dangerous goods, transport and logistics, and heavy vehicle mechanical backgrounds. We operate a fleet of modern industry standard vehicles with both 18 speed Road Ranger gearboxes and automated shift vehicles.

RMS Accredited

Central West Driver Training is RMS accredited to deliver Heavy Vehicle Competency Based Assessment (HVCBA). Our goal is to provide you the highest quality training possible to ensure you are job-ready to industry standards. Quality driver education is delivered in a one on one basis, ensuring the best possible outcomes. We are available seven days a week for all licence classes.
